The Internet NPC Detector Chrome extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or page content to any server. All analysis is performed entirely locally within your browser.

2. Local Storage

The extension uses Chrome's storage.local API to store:

• Your current analysis results (scores, detected words) – only to display in the popup.
• Basic statistics (number of pages scanned, total buzzwords found) – for your personal dashboard.

This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time via Chrome's extension settings.

3. Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

• "activeTab" – to read the content of the currently active tab and run the analysis.
• "storage" – to save your personal statistics locally.
• "scripting" – to inject the content script on pages you visit.

No permission is used to access or modify data outside of the extension's functionality.

4. Third‑Party Services

This extension does not use any third‑party services, analytics, or external APIs.

Any future changes will be reflected in this document. You are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
